After losing previous game with Venezuela, Messi ruled out from next Argentina’s friendly with Morocco

Lionel Messi has been ruled out of Argentina’s friendly against Morrocco on Tuesday after suffering a groin injury in the 3-1 loss to Venezuela.

The Barcelona forward played the full 90 minutes on Friday night, but it was confirmed after the game he will leave the squad as they prepare for their clash with Morocco next week.

Messi felt pain in the lowest part of his abdomen and pelvis (Pubis) during the game against Venezuela and will be coming back to Barcelona early.

According to a statement released by the Argentine FA, he has bilateral pubic pain.

This, though, should not affect his participation in Barcelona’s next match, against Espanyol on March 30.

Argentina’s Gonzalo Martinez has also suffered an issue and will also miss the next friendly.

Note: where is pubis?
