Barcelona vice president Jordi Cardoner has denied reports that the club are endeavoring to draw Neymar back to Catalonia after he exited them for Paris Saint-Germain minimal over a year prior.
The Los Cules head, addressing Radio Barcelona, didn’t close the entryway on a future move for the Brazilian star however.
“No one on the Barcelona board is making arrangements for the likelihood of getting Neymar back,” he said.
“Today, it’s an inquiry that can’t be addressed on the grounds that no one has evaluated it.”
“It was he who chose to clear out. It could have been that we didn’t have confidence in him at that point and now need to bring him back, yet that is not the situation.
“Anyway, if the circumstance emerged, we would need to talk about it with the board, yet as of recently that hasn’t been the situation.”
