Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is set to miss two weeks of play with a lower leg sprain, the club has affirmed in an announcement on Monday.
The Uruguayan isn’t set to miss any first-team football for the Blaugrana and rather will recuperate from his damage over the international break.
The club has affirmed the striker is set to miss somewhere in the range of 10 and 15 days of activity and could return for the city derby against Espanyol on 30 March.
Rather, the 32-year-old won’t go with Uruguay for their worldwide appearances this week and will recover in the Catalan capital.
Suarez obtained the injury in Sunday night’s 4-1 triumph at Real Betis, where he got his eighteenth La Liga gaol of the campaign.
