Jose Mourinho was the issue at Manchester United as he needed to be the focal point of attraction, as indicated by Paul Pogba’s sibling Mathias.
Mourinho was sacked by United a month ago, in the midst of reports of changing area distress having dropped out with star midfielder Paul Pogba in Manchester.
The World Cup victor – who was deprived of the vice-captain position prior in the season and dropped to the seat amid Mourinho’s last couple of weeks in control – has thrived since the Portuguese’s flight, scoring four goals and counting three assists under guardian manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the Premier League.
Also, Mathias Pogba blamed Mourinho while clarifying his sibling’s recovery at Old Trafford.
“The issue was Mourinho, directly down the line,” Mathias Pogba, 28, revealed to RMC Sport. “In the locker room, outside the locker room…everything.
“I know my sibling, and you let him know, go, play, the rest, he will do it.”
Mathias Pogba included: “From what we see of Mourinho, he generally needs to be the maestro – the focal point of consideration
“Paul, he doesn’t figure that perspective, you regard him, he will regard you, you confide in him, he will perform for you in huge matches.”
World Cup champ Paul Pogba has scored seven Premier League goals and nine in all rivalries for United, who are fifth in front of their blockbuster trek to Tottenham on Sunday.
