Ajax confirm that they have signed Quincy Promes from Sevilla until 2024. It is reported that the transfer fee is an initial €15.7m which could rise to a potential €17.2m.
Sevilla FC and AFC Ajax have reached an agreement for the transfer of Quincy Promes to the Dutch side.
Promes returns to the Club where he was grown after one season with the Nervionenses.
Arriving at the close of last season’s summer transfer window, after a deal with Spartak Moscow was agreed, Promes had already made five Russian league appearances and two Champions League qualifying appearances when joining for the 18/19 season.
As a Sevillista, he has made a total of 49 official appearances – 33 in LaLiga, ten in the UEFA Europa League and six in the Copa del Rey – contributing three goals and nine assists in the process.
With the Netherlands, the Dutch attacker signed off his season with important performances at the UEFA Nations League – scoring in the semi-finals against England before falling to defeat against Portugal in the final.
